The third party link is way too old in addition to a following post saying that this cplexe.exs file is not complete enough. Can someone help with this? I have tried for a week to fix this. I have downloaded countess SP's, read countless postsand wasted way too much time. My issue (please don't make me think that it was a mistake to do so) is that I purchased and installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on my laptop. It works fine. The problem is that where I work, they all run XP 32bit. So, the biggest issue is that it is an Architectural firm so I need to use CAD 32 bit.

I installed Virtual XP 32, but it cannot read chinese language, so all my work files are little squarees where communication should be. This is really bad advice; I am surprised that a Microsoft employee would give it. You should never download Windows system executables from third-party sites!1. They could be infected with a virus. Even if you verify the file to be legitimate today, it could be changed tomorrow.2.
The distribution of the file cplexe.exe is illegal under the Microsoft EULA. So you are downloading an illegally distributed file, which perhaps put you in violation of the Microsoft EULA.Anyone who is running Windows XP Mode in Windows 7 likely will not have a Windows XP installation disc, so that is not a solution. Microsoft needs to fix this problem in their Windows XP Mode software.I would encourage anyone who encounters this problem to report this bug in Windows XP Mode to those who can actually fix it. These dangerous and fragile workarounds are no good.
I am currently taking a class in Mandarin Chinese and would love to be able to start typing in Chinese on my desktop. The one problem? I don't have an XP disk. I've tried looking everywhere for downloads for the East Asian language pack, but nothingI try seems to work. I have XP SP3 along with Office 2003.
Everything is currently updated. I've tried from ' as well as from ' but every time it tellsme: 'The expected version of your product was not found on your system.' I do have a legal copy of XP, but I've had this computer for four years and have managed to lose the disk through a number of moves. Is there any way to get the language packs without it? I do have my Office 2003 disk handy, but it doesn't seem tohelp.
